2015 Animal Action Equine Visit a Success!

We would like to thank Animal Action Greece and its amazing team of Kleopatra, Michalis, Aris, Garry, Thodoris, and Leslie for the three days they spent with us. More than eighty equines were carefully checked. Many had their teeth filed; others had their hooves attended to. Several equines needed special attention for different issues.

This if the eighth year Animal Action team has come to Hydra. During each visit, the days they spend with us are full. Close to 700 equines and other animals have been taken care of during these eight years.

Your work has made a tremendous difference to the equines of Hydra. Everyone who brings their donkeys and mules to be checked has expressed their thanks and their hopes that we will be able to continue this yearly program.

A special thanks to Argiris for taking care of all the details during these visits. Thank you also to the municipality of Hydra for offering free dinners and accommodation to the team.

Very special thanks to the team for taking a stray cat from the port with a bad wound on her ear to a vet in Pireaus.
