2015 Newsletter2015 was a big year, with lots of action and ideas for how to help Hydra’s animals! We held TNR sessions, worked to build awareness in the community, continued and expanded our winter feeding program, held the annual equine vet visit, and much, much more.
A huge thank you for the wonderful three day visit from vet Irini Resou and vet nurse Carol McBeth, for a very productive spay/neuter program. And to the Help Animals International for sponsoring this session. We are so grateful to all of you.
We would like to thank Animal Action Greece and its amazing team of Kleopatra, Michalis, Aris, Garry, Thodoris, and Leslie for the three days they spent with us. More than eighty equines were carefully checked. Many had their teeth filed; others had their hooves attended to. Several equines needed special attention for different issues.
